Kemi Akimbileje


As some of you may know, for the past year I’ve been struggling with depression as well as a first-time diagnosis for bipolar disorder. Through this journey I gained a bunch of weight, lost tons of self esteem, and even had some self-threatening moments. All that being said, the photo on the left is me 3 weeks ago. I’m taking baby steps towards getting better and doing as much as I can to be the best version of myself I can be. I obviously still have a long way to go before I reach any of my physical or mental goals but I’m doing my best to keep pushing myself. Lots of people have been wondering where have I been, what’s been up with my music, what have I been doing or working on lately? I’ve been working on staying alive.
